Feb 9, 2009 - that's a jazz drummers interpretation and I like it !! don't kill me for syaing this but as much as I like the cream/Hendrix versions I've always found the heavy downbeat in the original to be too static! The backbeat here makes it more dynamic and gives it more life. But that just my opinoin of course. :)
