When I said that I meant that the songwriting and musicianship is a lot better than what you find in metal most of the time:Death Metal, Black Metal, Power Metal, GrindCore, DeathCore, whatever trivial subgenre of metal you can mention. The only type of metal that comes close is Progressive Metal, and you very well might call Estradasphere progressive metal some of the time.

Sep 18, 2009 - Funny. At the show (or perhaps it was one of the other Estradasphere shows at Kuumbwa), they claimed to be the first group to play metal at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center. It is both metal and jazz. Great stuff!
