I've been told today's F1 engine have injectors blowing directly into combustion chamber as it's better for engine cooling and keeps fuel particles in better suspension state... like HLX engines. Having the injectors so far from the engine must create a lot of issues just placed under the air filter

It must be safer regarding possible fire, with fuel and sparkle cutting out in accident, it's soonds safer. It's amazing with all the limitations FIA as created to F1 engineers and mechanics, they still are so fast and rev up to 19.000 rpm...

Well, a mate of mine who works with Renault had a ringtone of the Renault F1 car going round Monaco shared it with me. Loved it as it was 1 ringtone i cld still hear while walking around town. Sadly i couldnt use it as my default tone cos the office girls just hated it everytime my phone rang. Noise pollution they tell me. Ah well, what do they know??

Nov 14, 2009 - the round tubes is the throttle body and the yellow thing is the injectors sprying gas inside the throttle body to the engine to combust. as u can see the lounder the engine sounds, the most gas is sprying out.
