Aug 8, 2008 - it's not bad, it's not inedible, we (caucasians) are just not used to it as food whereas its super popular in japan and china. im half chinese, and i also thought aloe would be a BAD choice, but it's a lot like tapioca: they look bizarre in bubble tea, but it's still really good. the aloe has no flavor really, it's just for the texture. :/
