Nov 16, 2009 - "be a proud american and defend people who cant defend them selfs from the sick world terrorism.! " In your country there are lots of terrorist with medals. All of them are proud americans. You know what I mean, drop bombs is terrorism EVER, not only when another one does it.

MareBellator Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Delta never went to Hereford, they were never trained by Brits or the SAS. The first Delta operatives were trained by US special forces instructers (who also became Delta) that were trained by Charles Beckwith, who was an exchange officer that went to Hereford.

shikamaru668 Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - That was ignorant...

justinstaw Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - @MareBellator Actually the first Delta trainers WERE trained by SAS. Granted it was only a brief regiment but it did happen. The first operators were trained by a wide variety of specialists from all branches of service as well as many from the academic world. My source is "Inside Delta Force" by Eric L. Haney

MareBellator Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - They're called instructers, they werent Delta force.

Nov 20, 2009 - respect to soldiers around the world - putting their lives they could be spending peacefully with their loved ones on the line so that others can have that same privilege

Nov 20, 2009 - I'm a marine, and that looks like my bootcamp, except if we back talked we got hit!

ivanvano13 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - shut the hell up.

GenGeorgeWashington Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - The Army is better than the Marines... in fact, about six times better. And stop lieing to these people, first Ranger school is not boot camp. ur boot camp is equivalent to infantry basic training from the Army and in both branches drill sergeants or "instructors" Love there job and they wouldnt risk it for some idiot like you. if they shoved u a little, yanked u a couple times, thats not the same as hitting u. why r u falsly snitching on your fellow comrads to make yourself look cool?

guitarplayer4real Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - I got out in 1984 and they had already stopped physically abusing GI's at that time. As far as I know its illegal for drills to physically hit a GI but I could be wrong, its been a long time:-) That said, we didnt need to be hit, it was plain and clear that you do not talk back to a drill or you will pay dearly.. And guys did pay dearly, lol:-) No hitting needed for respect in training.

GenGeorgeWashington Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - lol... exactly.. you dont understand how many marines i know that have bullshitted me with this story. i mean dont get me wrong, ive been shoved, or yanked, or hit on the Kpot with a weapon but they just dont go and punch you out or someshit like that. and thats right on the money, you will pay dearly, which ends up hurting alot more than being hit..lol

guitarplayer4real Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - LOL:-p Brings back memories of a troop that had to chase an invisible monkey around a tree for quite a while because he couldnt stand still at attention... "you see a monkey over there private"? Go chase that monkey til I get tired:-p It was all we could do to not laugh and be made to join him... We dont need to be smacked around to be the best soldiers on this planet. complainers and whiners are weeded out in the first weeks of basic. The guy below was probably one of those:-)

GenGeorgeWashington Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - the worse smoking we got was for somebody putting a dip in his mouth that a drill sergeant threw out. we had just run to the front of the bay from chow... they made us run up the hill an x amount of times up and down and flutter kicks while we regrouped to go up again.lol. we were formed up and it turned into the scene in the movie "stand by me" when everybody starts yackin up pies everywhere.... with the drill sgt. laughin there ass off....

Familyguylover0888 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - man i would love to be a army ranger

Sadetree Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - One star for cutting in the middle of a sentence.

mrtrue1000 Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - Just a question! How come you get to wear glasses in the Marines? In our Scandinavian "Marines" you´ll never pass the selection with glasses!

GenGeorgeWashington Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - Im not a Marine, im a Soldier.. In the Army and the rest of the U.S military they give you something to keep them from falling off your face in basic training and then when your in, you can get surgery to correct your vision.
