Sep 30, 2009 - Oh I see Its the smartass bush lover joe wilson lover.
dude2222111111 Says:
Sep 30, 2009 - Night launches are better then daytime. I would not waste money, seeing a daytime launch anymore. I saw the sts-126 night launch, It was so amazing.
EndeavourLaunch Says:
Sep 30, 2009 - Don't believe me? Search it, STS-129 is on November 12th, 2009 Ares I-X is on the 27th of October. But of course, don't us moderates always 'lie' ROFL. Oh and Day and Night launches are nothing compared to a dusk or a dawn launch (pre-sunrise, post-Sunset), the contrail changes colors during ascent as the orbiter goes over the horizon. (STS-119)
EndeavourLaunch Says:
Sep 30, 2009 - Why do you even remotely give a shit what party I'm in! Just leave me alone, stop trolling about it on youtube. He said STS-129 was going to be canceled and I called him out and told him he was dead wrong. PLEASE just leave me alone and have an intelligent discussion for once without bringing in politics. You seem like a smart enough person,
EndeavourLaunch Says:
Sep 30, 2009 - I just want to have a discussion. I work around this stuff, I've grown up around this stuff, so I'm bound to know a few things. I could tell you Bushes idea to end the shuttle in 2010 was bad, a huge mistake that will cost many jobs and increase the gap tenfold
dude2222111111 Says:
Sep 30, 2009 - Because of asshole bush, new astronauts or those who have been waited a long time. Will not get a chance to fly on the shuttle.
dude2222111111 Says:
Sep 30, 2009 - I will be going to see sts 134, 09/2010. I hope nasa will have a post sunset launch, I have seen both daytime nighttime launches. STS-120/STS-126.
dude2222111111 Says:
Sep 30, 2009 - I hope STS-134 will be a sunset launch, that will be before daylight savings time ends or begins. I don't know. I've always wanted to see a space shuttle launch, @ dusk.
dude2222111111 Says:
Sep 30, 2009 - I have seen a day/nighttime launch. I need to see a dusk or post sunset. To complete my video collection.
dude2222111111 Says:
Sep 30, 2009 - People need to be writing nasa. To request to nasa for them to launch STS-134 around dusk, or post sunset. It will be nice going back to visit the space center for the 6th time.
rorrofunkamedic Says:
Oct 1, 2009 - my God!!! my hearth shakes when he said Flying Engineering Jose Hernandez... VIVA MEXICO CABRONES!! Because with all the things that is happening here (murders, drug traffic, etc).. this is give us so much hope.. things can be better.. one of us, up there.. so far away in the sky.. TACOS IN SPACE!!
EndeavourLaunch Says:
Oct 1, 2009 - We have no more rookies now after STS-131 launches. STS-131 will be the last space shuttle with rookies because litterly, everyone has flown. Now the new 2009 group, they're rookies but they've just been branded the title, they wont fly to 2013 on ISS missions, the 2004 group started flying in 2008.
dude2222111111 Says:
Oct 1, 2009 - Can you contact nasa, request to them. To have a pre sunset launch for the last space shuttle launch. STS-134. I have already seen a daylaunch nighttime launch.
dude2222111111 Says:
Oct 1, 2009 - People need to request to nasa. For the last space shuttle launch, to be. A pre sunset launch.
EndeavourLaunch Says:
Oct 1, 2009 - Cant, its all about orbital mechanics and physics, the launch window changes each day by 30 minutes aka if you had a scrub on a launch day were it was about 30 minutes after sunrise, next day it would be right before sunrise. Also STS-134's NOT the last mission, they switched around 133 and 134. 133 will be a morning launch likely. STS-130's going to be a pre-dawn launch though.
mach25man Says:
Oct 5, 2009 - Launches are not based on when is it a cool time to go. There is so much more involved. Station tracking, sun beta angles, solar flares, meteor showers, station traffic, weather, landing times etc. etc.
dude2222111111 Says:
Oct 5, 2009 - They make It look so easy launching a space shuttle.
Rewindtouch Says:
Oct 8, 2009 - Come on just use better technology like they launch from the South Pole, you know the other space program! why use this crap anymore just tell everyone you have much better stuff now and publicise it!
soundguy201 Says:
Oct 15, 2009 - you think 4 miles per second is fast? when it reaches orbit around the earth it travels at around 10 miles per second (17,500 miles per hour)
carnard2 Says:
Oct 30, 2009 - I have watched this video at least 20 times for two reasons. One, each time I see and hear this incredible sight., I see what working together toward a common goal can bring. Second, I love hearing the words "midnight ride to International Space Station" because it reminds me of Paul Revere's ride and what it accomplished in the long run. NASA's is doing great work. This is one of the things that is worth more than the money we pay.
Chrisjr2007 Says:
Nov 15, 2009 - STS-119,Well almost!With two hours to spare!

Sep 20, 2009 - You know, concerning "this mission won't get funding and has to be scrapped" and variations thereof, I don't see how that could possibly happen. Consider the money spent on wars compared to money spent on the space program. War spends much more by comparison. Yet what's more worthy of funding? Not war. Space is one of the most important things humans as a race will ever do, and it's unfathomable how any president could NOT be in support of funding for the program. It's unthinkable.
