Nov 23, 2009 - religion cant be defined by country borders. Your map is inaccurate becoz until 16th century people in Central Asia and Siberia were completely shamanists who worship in Tengri. Buddhism went there since 1600. Little before about Islam. About China rather than Buddhism, there was Confucianism and Daoism since 500 BC. You cant count Russia completely Christians.

Nov 24, 2009 - Three facts. Zoroastrianism started in southwestern iran. Zoroaster religion was formed around 1300bc and without zoroastrism judaism would have been polythestic since true monothestic judaism started around 1100bc. Judaism wouldnt have been what it is now with zoroastism. Zoroastrianism was the first religion that had only one allmighty ruler (Ahura Mazda) while actuall judaism really started around 1100bc as i already metioned. Go check it out if you dont believe me.
