The Saturn is ours though. 6 million components. 6 million. Thats the mechanical aspect. Lets not forget the Courage, Ability, Intelligence and Heroism of those that made it work, and enabled us to land on the moon.

Nov 17, 2009 - Truly, my greatest respect! The Apollo Program, the Saturn V were outstanding achievements! I admired the live broadcasts in the 60ies!!! The U.S. and the USSR captured many German Rocket Specialists and with the knowledge of these scientists, the 2 superpowers started the space age! AWESOME! Also to say: Wernher von Braun, one of the Chief experts of the NASA was a former member of the German SS... He was not directly involved in the death camps. But what the germans did, to achieve rockets?

Nov 21, 2009 - why did they stop this programme? it takes us another fucking 10 years to go to the moon? it took us 10 years in the 60s, then after this launch, they lanuched rockets to the moon everything 6 months. i would have thought u could be on pluto by now. and i cant belive how low space budgets are 17 billion compared to 1 trilion defence budget. the space budget should be 1 trilion a year. 1 trilion on defence, 2 unwinable wars and a terriost attack.awersome waste of money.
