Mar 24, 2009 - I would say that she should be referred to as Queen Jane R. She was proclaimed Queen by Parliament, and the Church. Although she was the first to say that it was not hers. It does not matter, Her King, King Edward VI proclaimed her as his successor.. I count her in the list of Monarchs and the first Queen R as well as the first executed Monarch of England. She deserves her titles as they did kill her in the end. I believe as well it to be 13 not 9 days. The King is dead long live the Queen

And other rulers- such as Mary's own father- who killed because of religion ? Of course she had lady jane executed just as Elizabeth had mary, queen of scots executed. Both Jane and Mary of Scots were threats to the throne, and although not right and maybe they were not guilty, they were both killed because of it

Oct 9, 2009 - Jane didn't even WANT to be queen. She refused but she was forced into it. The fact that she was executed just sickens me- she didn't do anything. She was just a scared, young girl that was thrust into something she didn't want + she hardly even got to live her life. RIP Lady Jane.
