Nov 22, 2009 - Hugh Laurie wanted to portrait a British cynical doctor in House but the producer and director were afraid that the audience would dislike him for not being American! This is another proof that you Americans destroys good Tv-shows! Just like when you had to make an "American version" of Ricky Gervais excellent British comedy the Office! The only British Tv-show you didn´t destroy or Americanized was Monthy Python for some strange reason?
