Jun 5, 2009 - WOW...I never said he fought at 135lbs...I said he has been rocked by fighters who are natural 135 pounders...you know...never-mind...If someone is not going to take the time to read a post before making a comment...it actually say alot about them!!!! Never-mind...your ight..COTTO IS THE BEST!!!!

mannypr201 Says:

Jun 7, 2009 - hey man dont get upset cuz u made a stupid point... thats your fault... oh and a lil bit more knowledge for you clottey couldnt finish a 135 pounder with a weak jaw in Corrales...

lionheartodd Says:

Jun 8, 2009 - I guess your werent paying attention to what the commentader was saying about corrales's weight about him not being able to go down to 135 and 140 so corrales is a welter weight a clottely has a good solid chin he fought margerito to a descision unlike your cotto who was ko'd and clottey also had broken hands but still lost a close decision to margerito clottely is going to beat cotto up if cotto stands in a clinch with him. but then cotto might run and get a decision

mannypr201 Says:

Jun 10, 2009 - Ok so corrales couldnt make 135 or 140 anymore whats your point???? did castillo @ 135 not ko corrales.. yes he did... now clottey is bigger than castillo and couldnt ko corrales... and by the margarito never ko'd cotto the corner threw the towel talk what you know buddy... and theres a big diffrence between a hurt hand and a bloody nose and lack of oxygen getting to your lung and swallowing blood mind you cotto fought 9 rounds like that... cotto broke his thumb against urkail and didnt quit

Outlaw1971 Says:

Jun 10, 2009 - cotto quit against margarito he was running 4 half of the fight......corrales could take a punch, cotto has been put down by corley and torres....B class opponents

lionheartodd Says:

Jun 10, 2009 - I guess you dont understand the sport of boxing okay lets just say I you are miguel cotto and I am your cornerman I see you take a beaten bad beaten so I be concern about your health of the fighter so that you can't fight another day or should I see cotto get brutally knocked that he might even suffer serious brain damage down the road the point is this clottely didn't get beat up by margarito like cotto did it was the corner best judgement to stop the fight so he can recoperate better

lionheartodd Says:

Jun 10, 2009 - and mind you alsp mannypr look at the isreal vasques rafeal marquez fights and look at aturo gatti fights those are some brutal fights right there. you know the funny thing is you are taking shit on clottey by margirato didn't want to give him a rematch now did he hell no and that was when margarito had the wba title and clottely still holds the ibf title now let me ask you this why would he not want to fight him in a rematch for his ibf title because he thought he was going to walk over shane

mannypr201 Says:

Jun 10, 2009 - you know whats funny how ppl like you always try 2 say i dont know boxing when i will nlow u out the water in boxing knowledge.. for one clottey gave up the ibf title to fight cotto shoes how much u know.. 2 its a big diffrence between an injured hand and not being able to breath. three cotto hurt his hand against urkail he didnt give away the fight4 when clottey fought morgo margo was barely fighting had 2 fights in dame near 2 years when he fought cotto he was active.. does are big diffrences

mannypr201 Says:

Jun 10, 2009 - well corley never knocked cotto down so ummm yeah dont make stupid comments... and cotto was not running matter fact if i remember max kellerman said cotto was putting on a classic performance and a boxing clinic... and torres was the one who got the knock down on cotto and it was really a push down

Samsun55 Says:

Jun 11, 2009 - fuyk your mom bitch!

Samsun55 Says:

Jun 11, 2009 - fucking jew!

lionheartodd Says:

Jun 11, 2009 - your are right mannypr Joshua clottely did relinquish his title to secure a fight with miguel cotto. But what the fuck miguel cotto fought micheal jennings for the wbo strap who is not ranked in any of the boxing organizations and joshua clottely manditory kermit centron didn't want a fight with clottey he moved up in weight its funny you taslk so much shit on clottely who trys to fight all the top contenders in his division who ducks him and your guy cotto fights a nobody for the wbo title

lionheartodd Says:

Jun 11, 2009 - and delvin rodriguez is a decent fighter and fi you had one shot to fight miguel cotto for 100,000 verses fighting a a manditory for 10,000 you one go for the bigger pay day and give respect when respect id due because micheal jennings should not have been in the ring with cotto fighting for the wbo title. Clottely deserves a big pay day money fight I dont care if he decided to relenghish his title to fight cotto margiito didn't want to fight Paul williams and Clottey in a rematch

mannypr201 Says:

Jun 12, 2009 - dude you dont know shit about boxing... you didnt know clottey had relinquished his title and michael jennings was ranked number 3 by the wbo... omg just stop i hate to have to keep on correcting you or better yet b4 you make a comment research if you aint sure.... and then you wanna say i dont know boxing but i've corrected you like 3 times already... and im not saying clottey is a bum or doesnt have a chance to win he's a hell of a warrior but i just dont see him winning

lionheartodd Says:

Jun 12, 2009 - World Boxing Organization May, 2009 WELTERWEIGHT (147 lbs.)(66,8 kgs) Title Name Country Champ MIGUEL COTTO PR Interim 1 Joshua Clottey GHA 2 Antonin Decaire (NABO) CAN 3 Rafal Jackiewicz POL 4 Saul Alvarez MEX 5 Krzysztof Bienias (Int-Cont) POL 6 Kell Brook GB 7 Jesus Soto Karaas MEX 8 Luis Collazo PR 9 Valeriy Brazhbik UKR 10 Vitaliy Demyanenko (Asia-Pacific) KAZ

lionheartodd Says:

Jun 12, 2009 - so even if lost against cotto he would still be ranked in the top ten atleast so where is he no micheal jennings and you see that joshua clottey is ranted number 1 so he should fight cotto for his title because he earned it through his ranking

EmoreButts Says:

Jun 13, 2009 - ??? Cotto has fought almost everybody prior to fighting Jennings. Clottey is overrated and you will realize that at around 11pm tonight. Cotto is the real deal. Nobody is trying to act like Cotto needs to legitimize his name in 2009.. He is proven.

lionheartodd Says:

Jun 13, 2009 - first off clottey is not overated the reason why he has not fought the all the markey opponents that cotto has is because the top contenders were ducking clottey a good example of this is when cintron decided to move up in weight instead of fight clottey in a manditory ibf match which he could have fought for clottey's belt unheard off I dont know who is going to win this fight but think about it which guy is more marketable cotto who has a whole country behind him or clottey.

lionheartodd Says:

Jun 13, 2009 - the reason why cotto has been getting all the top fights is beacuse he has the a whole country behind him and he is taking trinidads place. and margirito didn't want to give clottet a remach either even they he beat clottey in their fight the real reason why clottey lost that fight is because he broke his hand but his still didn't get knocked out by margirito eventhough he could barerly defend himself unlike someone who is going to fight tonight

kdemonde Says:

Aug 30, 2009 - RIP Deigo! aah, i miss the ol drop my mouthpiece to give me time to reccuperate routine, and he was really good at it too. Deigo was a warrior he had decent skills, knockout power with the right hand, he didn't have a good chin and he couldn't get past the top fighters in division. If he were alive today i don't think he would be fighting because somewhere down the line he would have faced Manny Pacquao and it would have been a wrap, he and Arturo Gatti were simliar in fight styles heart RIP!

matty2384 Says:

Sep 9, 2009 - thats true about gatti n diego. i would have loved to see them 2 in the ring

kdemonde Says:

Sep 11, 2009 - Yeah that would have been a war, blood and guts kinda fight. i think they both wouldv'e been spitting out their mouthpiece a few times in that fight.

ilovehummusforlife Says:

Nov 9, 2009 - dieggo had the odds stacked against him in this bout he moved up two weight classes for this fight and fought one of the most strongest, aggressive welterweights in the division, and i thought he put up a pretty good fight

wmoore8 Says:

Nov 11, 2009 - diego was a throw back, real blood and guts fighter. win or lose always put on a show.

intothisall Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - clottey is a cheating motherfucker. he usually comes in at 170 pounds at fightnight if he fights at 147
