Oct 6, 2009 - Well done for for being critical of an actor who hasn';t even voiced a single line on doctor who yet!!

jadaiyuki12 Says:

Oct 10, 2009 - it said in the description that william hartnell was in this episode.Thats wrong because he was dead when this episode was being made so they got a replacement actor.

Oct 11, 2009 - Watched some of Matt Smith's movies not long after the annoucement of his casting to get a feel for him. Not terribly impressed with what I saw. Before I got into Doctor Who, I had seen Peter Davidson in Harnessing Peacocks. At the time, I didn't know he was a Doctor, and I couldn't have cared less about DW. When I did get into it and looked into the history and saw the 5th's picture, I knew already he was a good actor. With this in mind, I honestly am not a fan of his technique. Simple.

spikelilgirl Says:

Oct 11, 2009 - Frazer Hines, Jamie, couldn't do the show because the director of Emmerdale, the show he was doing at the time, wouldn't give him the time off. That's why you only see Jamie on the stairs with Zoe.

StormsongK Says:

Oct 12, 2009 - Hartnell appeared in a flashback at the very beginning of the episode, outside of the story. But you're right, the actor playing the First Doctor here is Richard Hurndall, and the Beeb should have credited him for this clip.

Oct 30, 2009 - ah brilliant, just brilliant. i really should start watching some of the originals as ive only seen the william hartnell episodes. and theres a lot of mention if u look carefully in the new doctor who's about stuff in the old ones. Such as the doctor mentions the brigadier and if u havnt seen the originals u wont know whats hes on about etc...and does anyone know if the master ever got a hold of the ring they mention? as we all know when hes cremated a womans hand picks up his ring. same ring?

thedoctorTARDIS Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - no he doesn't. lord president borusa comes in with five (who is hypnotized) and takes it. he gets what he deserves and they all go home.

thedoctorTARDIS Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - he was in the episode. they showed an old clip of him. did the same with tom baker. and he wasn't dead at the time but was in the later stages of altzimers so couldn't do it.

kaiyam1 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - I find it strange that 1st Doctor keeps refering to the others as "the young fellow" given he is technically the youngest.

53ra79ps5 Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - Rowan Atkinson should be the next doctor.
