Sep 23, 2009 - what's so messy? in fact she made it so damn simple already.

xXLindasFishXx Says:

Sep 24, 2009 - she said 400 degrees and I doubt anyone would put that in centigrade

Sep 28, 2009 - being at home....stirring up a muffin. ooh err.

Sep 28, 2009 - CanadaTheamazing: It is cruel to make such harsh comments about Nigella Lawson's figure. She has had several children and is a cook. What do you expect? Thankfully, the majority knows that she has a lovely full figure. A true beauty. And, with physical looks aside, she's simply fabulous.

Sep 30, 2009 - wicked recipe, looks and tastes fab! and for all those who posted rude comments on here .... i would rather see a curvy chef than a skinny one!

Oct 8, 2009 - i didnt find this recipe very good. Tasted nice, but didnt raise well. i prefer the recipe where you use quite alot of cooking oil. always works out best...

crazydog349 Says:

Oct 12, 2009 - she said 400 fahrenheit

xXLindasFishXx Says:

Oct 12, 2009 - that's what I'm trying to imply

Oct 15, 2009 - looks and tastes fab true!

kasic Says:

Oct 24, 2009 - 200 deg C for muffins is very normal. anyway all ovens varies a lot and in baking, the temperature is never fixed. so you have to bake accordingly.

kasic Says:

Oct 24, 2009 - compare her to those thin 20 somethings on street, i think she is much more of a human and a proper woman.

aakyviky Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - I am a fan of Nigella lawson and I like her as a real woman and love her recipes and the way she explains stuff BUT I didnt like this recipe lets say 100%. I tried it day b4 yday and it raised very well, everything was perfectly baked but I didnt like the taste of it that day.The next day, thats yersterday I had one for breakfast and it was much better tasting. When she says vegetable oil..what exactly is it?? I live in Italy. is using Peanut,Soya,Sunflower, mixed veg oil the same ?? pls adv.tq

SoftRazor12 Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - You could use sunflower oil

sisterjanet4 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - I don't agree. i'm a curvy woman and love my hourglass shape, but does that mean a woman of a diff shape is any less womanly than me? Why are we all so quick to critisise each other? Surely the whole point is that every woman is beautiful being herself.

kasic Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - sorry what i meant was, people who think women are only beautiful when they are a size zero.

sisterjanet4 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - Ah, fair enough then :)

TheGhastlybaker Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - thank a lot! it sounds great, im going to make some right now =)

dansan Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - I have nothing against her, I didn't even come here to criticize, but I made this recipe toda, and I clearly understood why she doesn't show the muffins already done! It turns out that they come out really bad! :( they look like sad cupcakes on a rainy day. I wasn't even able to take the paper off the muffin. Could have been some mistake I made... but honestly I don't think so :(

TheFinalAction Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - And NOW I know why my muffins looked like pancakes. When she says "cup" I think "something I drink coffee in every morning". The thing she is using is more like a bowl, it's much bigger than "cup".

dansan Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Mine were also very bad, they didn't grow and they formed a hole in the middle, they looked like inverted volcanos -_- it has nothing to do with the cup you used... the recipe is really a "turn off".

TheFinalAction Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - I meant that by misunderstanding the "cup" word I didn't use enough flour ;)

dansan Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - Ah, ok. Well, the mixture will still be very liquid even if you put the right amount of flour. It looks more like cupcake mixture than muffin mixture. The muffin mixture is usually thicker, right? But anyways, try them again and then let us know how they come out :D
