Why do atheists care about religion?

Nov 19, 2009 - People, regardless of their upbringing, are from birth; programmed, subjected, engrained with religious memes/instructions from their culture, their heritage, and their gene pool. Chances are very good in that whichever religious exposure or direct instruction, the information is taught by parents, family, community, society. Atheists by choice teach themselves to question what they are exposed to therefore aren't inclined to believe or pay attention to religion by default.

An atheist believes there is no God but accepts that further evidence may exist to change that, A Theist believes there is a God but accepts that it is an act of faith rather than evidence.
