Oct 10, 2009 - I do like a good cup of tea myself. think i might make a cup now actually
nybras66 Says:
Oct 11, 2009 - no, the caffeine of 4 cups of tea (1,3,7-trimetilxantina) is like two cups of italian coffe. Can be dangerous in excess, like many other substances... If you have a normal sleep time, no heart fibrilation and no hand tremors, you can drink your cups. Also, the type of tea and the type of infusion (time+tea+temperature) gives a wide range of personal situations.

Oct 12, 2009 - Tea is set to become more expensive, causing panic throughout the land. The Catholic church in Ireland has already faced near mutiny from parish priests whose housekeepers have started rationing their tea. Cardinal Cormac MacCormac said "In one parish in Sligo the local priest has stripped naked and chained himself to the front door of the church in protest. One elderly lady had to be taken in to hospital with shock after she turned the wrong knob on the way in."
26highstreet Says:
Oct 12, 2009 - Supermarkets are trying to turn the nation on to drinking coffee instead of tea. The plan has not been well received by a nation of confirmed tea drinkers. The tea shortage is causing concern in other sectors of the food and beverage industry. The Milk Marketing Board has seen a steady drop in milk buying and cows are facing redundancies in parts of Southern England. Biscuit manufacturers are also feeling the pinch as the public turn towards cake to go with their cups of coffee.

Nov 2, 2009 - its tea?
MatthewDavidParr Says:
Nov 5, 2009 - This is so overkill (I am not an American, I am English), making tea is as simple as 1,2,3. Teabag in, Boiling water in, poke around till water tuns into BLACK tea, add milk, perhaps 5 teaspoonfuls. This is all bollocks, the type of teapot you use is irrelivant, the type of water you use is irrelivant and the place you store tea. Only important things are: Make sure to use boiling water Use a nice blend of tea, Ie, Yorkshire tea, PG Tips etc.

shockingblue55 Says:
Nov 9, 2009 - Those were different times. They didn't have tea bags in those days or electric kettles. Storage space was much more limited, hence the advice not to store it near to disinfectants etc. Unlike today, tea will have been quite expensive for ordinary people, and fresh drinking water wasn't available in all households either. So it would have been quite easy for people to completely mess up their tea.

Nov 20, 2009 - You really don't believe that bagged tea is made from the floor sweeping do you? Try some proper tea and you'll never go back. It's cheaper than bags as well!
