When will America truly believe in her literature that all men are created equal, regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, wealth, sexual orientation. When will we shed the ignorance from our minds and the hatred from our hearts? No ONE CHOOSES their sexual orientation.. gay people can't force themselves to be anything other than who they are.. they are part of the picture as fellow brothers and sisters.. California voters struck down gay marriage (twice now) and Maine voters most recently banned such an act. I don't care how tearful this "Ricky Schroeder" wannabe is: gay marriage is wrong.

Nov 17, 2009 - Actually, a gay gene WAS discovered. Not only that, but even animals have been seen to be homosexual. It's just nature, no one chooses to be gay. And either way, years ago somebody was saying marrying a white person if you were black was wrong. How different is it to deny someone of marrying someone else because they're same gender and denying someone of marrying someone else because they are different races?
