They laugh too early because they don't really see anything funny yet (because the joke's not started yet) but they feel there must be something funny because in standup usually whenever there is a pause, it's preceded by something funny. That's my interpretation of these premature laughers:)

Original, and of course, when people laugh early, it's not only becuase the demonstration is so serious and technical, but because they know something funny is coming and they anticipate it; but the key is that when you get to the punchline, the joke is as funny as they expect it to be. THAT'S what makes you a good comedian. And also your completely deadpan delivery; laughing at your own jokes would completely kill it. Great job.

Oct 3, 2009 - I'm impressed. It's so hard to find comedians whose jokes don't appeal to the lowest common denominator. The depressing thing here is, almost everyone on here that says your not funny, I'm sure thinks Dan Whitny (Larry the cable guy) is hilarious. Also, it seems if really anybody else tried to do this comedy it would fall flat. Your presentation and especially your voice just make it perfect.
