Sep 21, 2009 - It's a really great band but not the most influential. Like every band they come from a wave. They actually come from the no wave, after Sonic Youth and Nirvana, here's Radiohead. Ps: Buy 'The Wall'

mindonmusic Says:

Sep 27, 2009 - I respectfully disagree :) It is true that all great bands are a product of their predecessors and influences, but few are able to take those influences and change them into a sound that is their own. Just look at the difference between Pablo Honey and In Rainbows or Hail To The Thief. A vast alteration in sound, something Sonic Youth and Nirvana never accomplished.

mindonmusic Says:

Sep 27, 2009 - PS. The Wall is a great album, interesting that you mention it. OK Computer has been hailed as one of the greatest and most influential albums of all time, on par with Dark Side Of The Moon.

Oct 1, 2009 - no band is honestly more influential then the other. Music goes where it goes and the musicians just hop on for a ride. Those most in line with the flow of music are normally the 'best' by any definition of the term. But that is not by their own merit, but of the openness of their minds.

Oct 4, 2009 - well, imho nirvana changed too, not a change as big as radiohead's but still, in utero is very different from bleach.
