Nov 4, 2009 - Just keep at it, you'll get it soon. Remember to place just the edge of your palm onto the strings, as close to the bridge as possible. Pluck the power chords downwards, its harder to pluck upwards when palm muting.

Nov 12, 2009 - Hi, I used an effects pedal to get that exact tone, but if you want to recreate it on just an amp, play the power chord under pretty heavy distortion using just the back pickup, and add a bit of delay as well, to get a slight echo.
