Nov 11, 2009 - I am using google maps from palm pre. The location shows up correctly when I am outside a building. But when i am inside office my location is so wrong. When it is always cell phone towers which get the location why does it vary for inside and outside building.

Each of these hotspots have been labelled with the address that they're used in. So, when you open your maps application your device is triangulating you based upon wifi hotspot locations.
