Aug 15, 2009 - one of my theories was that some Celtic noble visited Greece and tried to recreat a temple for himself in the Greek style, and used stone because he couldnt find white marble in Britain.

Aug 15, 2009 - 2- the top stones could have been placed in winter. all they had to do was place the standing stones then wait till snow came and piled it all around then slid the top stones on ice to theyre top position!

Sep 28, 2009 - I laugh so hard to these so called scientist! They have so primitive thinking, they cant see outside of the box, they think physical science can solve everything but they cant just see that there is more in this world that we dont see anymore cuz we have lost the connection to this world due to industrializing and cuz we dont have spiritual energy anymore cuz all we think is matter and we give shit about vortex energy cuz we cant see it! We have truly lost ourselves!

Oct 10, 2009 - Lets use Occam's razor here. The stones where not lifted. They where put there in the wintertime, while the snow covered the ground. It is also possible that they used snow to make ramps. Using sledges to put the stones in place. Transporting the material from the quarry must have been much easier during the winter. Just an idea from Iceland. ;-)
prakkari Says:
Oct 10, 2009 - It is also possible to erect the blocks by using a thick layer of snow. (hard winters) placing them in the wanted position horisontally. Then digging from under one end or ligth a fire on the end, melting it down. Just a theory. I think th scientists forget the possibility of snow.
