Apr 5, 2009 - Karen Carpenter was an intense perfectionist when it came to her music. She never made a bad song that I can recall. It is sad that she tried to apply that same perfectionism to her own body and when she realized it wouldn't work out, she just gave it up. The fact she tried so damn hard to achieve both to the bitter end is the saddest thing of all and that makes her music even more poignant now.

Sep 4, 2009 - I don't believe I've ever heard a more exquisite voice. The sheer effortlessness...nothing forced. I always liked Karen somewhat, but the instrumentals usually overwhelmed her voice. It wasn't until I heard this song, as well as her rendition of "Don't Cry for Me Argentina, that I realized just how awesome she truly was. Rest in Peace, Beautiful Karen.
