Nov 18, 2009 - @md65000 I believe that QxR was the losing move by white. It's a rarity, but I'm pretty sure that that was the case. Thanks for the comment/rating. =)

Nov 18, 2009 - @iLIVEinFEAR1 Can you be more specific about what makes the format so bad for you? I appreciate the feedback/honesty. Thanks in advance. =)

iLIVEinFEAR1 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - the format of the video is too wide for my computer, the pieces and board are stretched width... still good work anyway funny i usually blunder big time against higher rated opponents because of nervousness

ChessNetwork Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - @iLIVEinFEAR1 Oh okay. Thanks.

diggitus Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - board is stretched.

Nov 18, 2009 - Thanks for the feedback. I made adjustments as I was getting similar responses from others. Let me know if it's better if you get a second. =)

Nov 22, 2009 - great analysis and great graphics the game look almost like a battle :-) I love it.

Nov 22, 2009 - In 4:00 why doesn't he simply capture your strong dark-squared bishop with his knight?

ChessNetwork Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - Cool. Thanks for the compliment and feedback. =)

ChessNetwork Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - Because, with the current pawns structure, the knight on d5 is the better than my dark squared bishop.

Zelrio28 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - How come you didn't play Bf5 at 9:12? You pin the rook to the king, while putting his queen under attack with your own rook

ChessNetwork Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - Because of QxR and I lose! =)

Zelrio28 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - OH@ I'm sorry I didn't see that the bishop blocked the queen

ChessNetwork Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - No prob! You weren't the first to ask that "what if" question. =)

BobbyFischer0000 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - Great video, I really enjoyed your analysis; may I ask your rating? I noticed white neglected his king safety early on, possibly an error? Your attack was unrelenting, very nice chess if I might say so.

ChessNetwork Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - Thanks for the compliment. *handshake* I'm 2200+ USCF. =)

BobbyFischer0000 Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - No problem. that is a very nice rating. Do you think white can turn the "hole" on d5 into a long-term advantage? Or possibly orchestrate an attack on d6? thanks :)

ChessNetwork Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - Thanks. First, controlling d5 should be white's plan and then ideas of maybe crashing through on d6 are that much more likely. d5 is permanently a hole and so I see it as a potential long-term advantage.

BobbyFischer0000 Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - Thanks, do you normally play this line as black? I personally am not a fan of this line. I much prefer "quieter" moves such as d6, e6, or a6, instead of e5. What was the GM's rating?

ChessNetwork Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - No I don't. I've played the Sicilian few times compared to other quiet openings. I don't know who the GM was, so I don't know their rating.
