Nov 23, 2009 - LOL. Why not. This bible god threatens people with hell and death if people don't worship it. This bible god creates evil or "calamity" and then has a fit if people do the very evil it created.

LitTeyla09 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - God does not create evil

tazzmachazz Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - So you worship a demigod. Ok, let's make this clear. Your jesus, coveted his own mom, who was espoused to joseph. (Luk 1:27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.) (Luk 2:5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.) Then..hopped in her womb..camped out for 9 months and the she popped out god. So again, your bible god sinned by coveting another man's wife....er..mom... WOW

tazzmachazz Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - Your bible says differently..and i quote... King Iames 1611 bible. Isa 45:7 I forme the light, and create darkenesse: I make peace, and create euill: I the Lord do all these things. Now..you're claiming he does not create evil. Either you bible god is the creator of ALL THINGS...or isn't. You need to make a decision. Creator...or not the creator.

LitTeyla09 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - @tazzmachazz Mary was a virgin, she was'int married yet even Joseph could see that as a miracle.

LitTeyla09 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - @tazzmachazz funny, mine says nothing of evil. it just says darkness, referring to dark/night and natural disasters BTW, I already made my decision a long time ago...have you?

tazzmachazz Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - Post the bible and verse. That's always helpful. I posted King Iames 1611. I can go earlier...perhaps the Geneva bible or the Bishops bible..even Wycliffe's..but that is very hard to read...whew.

tazzmachazz Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - Oh, as for the decision...like all othe religoins and 50 gabillion gods...all created by men. Men created gods...not the other way around. But I will clue you in on something..I use to be a christian and then went the torah route. I know both books very well..OT and NT.

LitTeyla09 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - @tazzmachazz NIV "I (The Lord) create the light and create darkness ( day and night) I bring prosperity and disaster ( good times and natural disasters)

LitTeyla09 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - and your right, men create gods to find , whatever they need to find, peace, hope etc. but no one created the one true God, He created us I could kinnda tell that you know the Bible, So you switched form being a Christian to a Jew?

tazzmachazz Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - So your god added all of the parenthesis?? Still..either your god is the creator of all things or not. You can't pick and choose what your god creates just because it might make your bible god evil or psychotic. Is your god the creator of all things or is there another god that actually created everything...which is it?

tazzmachazz Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - No, never a jew. More "messianic"..continued on studying a lot more..and had to dismiss it all. Making a long story short.

LitTeyla09 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - @tazzmachazz Genesis 1:31 "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good" Evil is not good.

LitTeyla09 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - and yet you seem to keep questioning God and His authority, yeah, that makes sense

tazzmachazz Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - Who witnessed "god' saying that? It wasn't evil to kill the first born sons? It wasn't evil to kill David and Bathsheba's baby? Creation stories are in every religion. Oral stories passed down and finally written down.

tazzmachazz Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - What authority do you think this "god" has?

LitTeyla09 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - @tazzmachazz Read Matthew 21:23-27

tazzmachazz Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - Just did. And I'm glad that I did. It really shows me that the writer of the NT was clueless to what was custom in the OT. No one was "baptized". The cleansed (tevilah) themselves in a pool of water (mikveh). No one was ever baptized. That was it. And now..no one can say what authority? LOL Perhaps because there's no god that has that authority. Men wrote the bible. It was put together by men. Men decided what books they wanted. Show is coming on..ciao for now..

LitTeyla09 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - @tazzmachazz If you really were a Christian. but then switched to the Torah...and yet you don't know that God has ultimate authority...did you ever fully understand the Bible? I'm taking the answer as a no.

bloodandbones9 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - 1Co 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; :2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. :3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Hejck Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - win... this is why you can't take the bible literally

APiARYies Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - so, you're saying gays can't experience God?God loves EVERYONE.I go off what the bible says too,and it says to love EVERYONE and that only God has the right to condem people. If you think this sin is so bad, and you arn't accepting people just because of it, then you need to rethink thins and realize this isn't about telling people that they are bad, it's about leading them to God.that's why my church acccepts gays, just like they accept liers, cheaters, murderers, abusers, and meanie butts.

twholland1 Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - COOOOOKIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!! OMNOMNOMNOMNOM. Haha yea you're pretty much right.

tazzmachazz Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - Isn't the torah in your bible? The first five books? Wouldn't that be your torah...also? It's obvious that I know the bible. I know I have made that more than clear. Gods are created by men. You claim the god you believe in had ultimate authority. The Hebrews believe their god has ultimate authority..and the battle of the god having authority goes on and on. I love how xtians always make the claim that people weren't really xtians. Again, men..create gods.

tazzmachazz Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - Umm..Paul's epistles were written before the gospels. LOL.
