LordBLB Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - "fancy words" If you think 'reasonable estimates' and 'educated inquiry' are 'fancy words', your vocabulary must be incredibly limited... "no proof that deaths will rise" I don't have to. IT'S COMMON SENSE! My god, it didn't think someone could be so fucking dense...
rapsody Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - vocabulary limited? this from someone who couldn't spell guaranteed with two separate chances? i wouldn't go there if i were you... common sense to you because you worship at the alter of gov't health boards. i don't think they do very much good, just ask all the people who still got food poisoning this year.
LordBLB Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - "good reason to people to check with the BBB right now" That's because there are things like Health Boards doing their part to make sure food is prepared in a safe and clean environment... LoL! "therefore you were calling me a complete idiot" YOU'RE A COMPLETE IDIOT! There, that's what calling someone a 'complete idiot' looks like. Does it look like what I wrote in the original comment?
rapsody Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - um, the BBB doesn't do anything in regard to food safety.. I think you're confused. Name-calling is a little elementary school. I've matured to the point where I can have a disagreement with someone without calling them names. Even someone as charming as you.
LordBLB Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - "guaranteed" LoL! Still beating on that door, huh? Please... This is fucking YOUTUBE dumbass. You'd get your ass handed to you in a real debate. Point in fact, since you've been having this conversation with me on here, I've asked several people about what they thought about it. And they have ALL, and I mean ALL 14 of them, have thought YOU were completely crazy for wanting to get rid of Health Boards. And that's NO LIE. I really did ask complete strangers. But I doubt you'll believe me...
LordBLB Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - "BBB doesn't do anything / food safety" No shit sherlock. But yet you think that some other organization would fill in the blank. You yourself recommended something 'like' the BBB. We already have that. It's called HEALTH BOARDS. Seriously. You're trying to fix something that isn't broken...
rapsody Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - a real debate? lol, ok.. get all that misplaced anger out now.. but wait, you said earlier most people are stupid.. so if most people disagree with me, i must be right on the money!
LordBLB Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - "I've matured to the point" Nice. Too bad you disregard other people's health so freely then. You'd think an ADULT would realize the importance of such an organization... But you do not. Do you know what 'empathy' is?
LordBLB Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - "misplaced anger out now" LoL! I'm not angry. I'm talking on your level. There's a difference. I had any reason to believe that you're a reasonable person, my language would indeed be absent of those 'untidy' words. You're simply helping me pass time at work...
rapsody Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - i like how you skipped right over the part about how you said most people are stupid and now you're using them to try and make your point... having it both ways is tough, huh?
LordBLB Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - "you said earlier most people are stupid" And I said that in response to YOU thinking people would be smart enough to check out a place before shopping there. The point was, NO they aren't smart enough, and more people would die. Forgot that quickly eh?
rapsody Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - but yet you think those EXACT SAME people are smart enough to know whether or not we need health boards? oh, wait.. no, they are smart when they agree with YOU.. right? but the rest of the time they are too dumb to check anything out.
rapsody Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - and what you just described is actually the system we have right now. people don't check anyplace out because they assume the health boards would not let them continue business if they had unsanitary conditions, which isn't always the case. without the health boards, people would be more likely to want their own consumer protection that didn't come from the government.. who gives us a poorly run service in the first place.
LordBLB Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - *sigh* You've got 2 HUGE problems with your argument, and you don't see them. 1. You're placing the trust onto the business owners, and at the same time, leaving people's lives in their hands. The fear of punishment from the government, keeps most places from letting things get bad enough. The fear of random inspections, keep most places tidy. 2. You seem to have a poor understanding of how Pathogens are spread, and how quickly things can spiral out of control without proper supervision.
LordBLB Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - "they are smart when they agree with YOU, right?" That's not what I said. You have a really hard time keeping things in context don't you? You think you're a mind reader or something? I used it as an example of "educated inquiry", in response to your accusations on the percentages I gave you. It was an example only. My point still stands...
LordBLB Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - "they assume the health boards would not let them continue business if they had unsanitary conditions" Correct. Because it works, for the most part. No system is perfect. But it's the fear of punishment that keeps most places in line.
LordBLB Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - I tire of arguing about this subject. It's obvious that neither of us can change the other's mind. SO, I propose a question in a lighter heart. Do you think we should legalize marijuana? I think we should. What do you think?
rapsody Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - yes, i absolutely believe marijuana should be legal. I believe the very idea of the government telling us what substances we can put into our body is tyrannical.. but especially marijuana considering it is less harmful than most legal substances.
LordBLB Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - "marijuana should be legal" See? We came back together again! =D I couldn't agree more. I don't do the stuff myself. But I've got friends who do, and I've studied a bit on the subject. And you're correct. It is actually a very safe substance. I honestly have no idea why it's illegal, and smokes and alcohol are legal. Guess Mary-Jane doesn't have any lobbies in DC? =P
HelloWalterSobchak Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - pro war chickenhawks need to be called out, considering they refused too fight.
HelloWalterSobchak Says:
Nov 14, 2009 - also, why would he be so ashamed of his draft dodging status if it was legitimate? the guy is obviously ashamed of his status as a coward.
antifaith82 Says:
Nov 15, 2009 - EPIC WIN!! the only reason Medicare has holes in it, is because jagoffs like him drilled them in it!
rapsody Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - or maybe because they get ripped off for millions of dollars daily and can't do anything about it... that could have something to do with it.
HUMANSAREBENEATHME Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - Tancredo=TYPICAL REPUBLICAN CHICKENHAWK COWARD! Lord...can you please infect TANCREDO WITH DEADLY CANCER IMMEDIATELY...Kill this motherfucker now, lord!

rapsody Says:
Nov 13, 2009 - there isn't really a good reason for people to check with the BBB right now.. there certainly would be for them to check with someone who kept track of food safety inspections. so the comparison is not really valid. you said "if you don't think we need these things, you're a complete idiot". you obviously know i don't think we need them, therefore you were calling me a complete idiot. logic is an interesting field as well.
