Same thing with Houdini, a lot of people know that he die a couple of weeks after some punk punch him in the stomach, but half of those people don´t undestrand how a punch could cause his death, it's a similar scenario.

The comment about "how do you get brain damage from crawling on coals" is directed to AsianGinner14's claim that JC suffered the head injury in Drunken Master 2 during the stunt where he crawls on buring coals. The top 10 stunts video says otherwise and provides all the necessary info about JC's head injury from Armour of God.

Nov 16, 2009 - when benny blew out the candles with that kick it wasn't planned..or special effects, it was real... jackie is THE best stuntsman and kung fu action star but benny could wipe the floor with most action-stars, eve jackie complained a few times during filming that benny hit too hard(but hey the guy is used to the real deal)

Nov 16, 2009 - This is about fight scenes, not "wiping the floor" w/ somebody. It's like pointing out that Tiger Woods would beat Michael Jordan in golf. There's a reason why Benny isn't an action star like JC, he couldn't have choreographed his fight w/ JC like Sammo Hung did.

Nov 16, 2009 - @jp3813: In Drunken Master, JC's final scene was supposed to be his character suffering from severe brain damage from all the drinking he did in the last fight scene. It was cut because they found it too extreme. So, I'm positive AsianGinner14 misinterpreted what he saw on television.
