Aug 30, 2009 - I had one of these. I bought it from Music man in Reading Uk. when it came, it was in such a tatuy stae, things were broken, or wouldn't work, I t wasn't as described at all. I sent it back. how he ever thought he'd get away with it I don't know. Be warned,. what a classic this synth, that's now shooting up in price, buy one but, be careful. Do not deal with the above. LOL .

Sep 20, 2009 - Does Roland's newer synths workstations (Juno G, Fantom, etc.) have authentic sounds from its older synths' pads? Or is the sound completely different? From what I understand, the newer Roland synths and workstations (aside from the V-Synth) are sample-based and therefore can only play a few sounds taken from the its vintage synths, but can't offer the same control or authenticity of these sounds, is that correct? Thanks!

Oct 8, 2009 - Just bought one. They are still being used today live by, such artists as, JM Jarre, Gary Numan, and, Mike oldfield. A beautiful classic synth, that is, going to shoot up in price in years to come. They weigh a ton, and are practically armoured plated. So easy to programme great patches, unlike many synths of today. A true classic as the D50. Thanks for posting. LOL .

Nov 25, 2009 - Too bad of the sound quality, next time try hooking up your synth to your video camera directly, the buzz on this video is killing me, even though you played nice. It was a good demo, but sound Q ruined it. Peace.
