Sep 13, 2009 - Song is hauntingly beautiful. So much so, i can't listen to it to often because it makes me cry. I've done enough of that to last a lifetime, plus.

Sep 15, 2009 - Holy crap! That must have been awesome to watch. To see history in the making, wow!

ScottTaylorRealtor Says:

Sep 15, 2009 - You're right. This music is Real. I think givin the right song, this bands harmony and vocal tones are truthfully one of the better collaborations of vocalists. This song is very pensive and befitting of the title of the album, Surreal. When listening to it, you feel transported. It puts you in a mood. I remember listening to the album in our basement in our house in Vermont. My parents had the album. I listened to it over and over. I was about 3-4 years old.

Sep 16, 2009 - I first heard this album at an afterparty at a friend's place. Gotta love random discoveries that would have otherwise been dismissed in a sober state of mind. Beautiful stuff. :-)

Sep 19, 2009 - Anyone ever heard an old ('67?) radio documentary on a chick named "Marcy" who lived somewhere in the East (Greenwich) Village? This was used for the soundtrack, and it made the dialogue that much more powerful, as it focused on the alleged "hopelessness" of the hippie lifestyle. pretty kick ass doc. Very kick ass song!

magicminstrel Says:

Sep 21, 2009 - Yup, it was awesome. Totally. We didn't realise how lucky we were then to be living in those times, but now you can see what a great time it was, and what a blessing to have lived through. The Golden Age.

Sep 23, 2009 - Marty balin, enough said. Deep and talks above love in a way that few can.

gulfgypsy Says:

Sep 28, 2009 - for love that's slipped away ..... so close, yet not meant to be. can't hold a heart that is as free as the wind and is destined to never rest....... but every now and again, that love would come and like a warm breeze, wrap around you... then slip away again. leaving only the memory of warmth.... sometimes you think you'll never feel that warmth again.....

Sep 30, 2009 - September 30th raining and snowing here in Jackson Hole, this song definitely fits. Around here winter doesn't ever go away for very long.

Oct 11, 2009 - A beautiful song, even after 42 years. I never knew what it meant. Maybe it means nothing, or means anything you want. I don't know but I love the song anyway. To me its a perfect invocation of love for things we can't control but love anyway.

LostPlanet42 Says:

Oct 13, 2009 - I loved this song when I first heard it - all those years ago. I still love it now. It makes me go sort of quiet inside . . .

andaloudog Says:

Oct 17, 2009 - Sean Penn used this so beautifully for The Indian Runner. The kind of song you can hear once and never forget.

zitlight73 Says:

Oct 18, 2009 - They used it beautifully in Flashback when Carol Kayne played home movies of FBI agent Keifer Sutherland a little kid, showing his upbringing by hippie parents in a commune. Great movie.

theinbetweenismine Says:

Oct 19, 2009 - Haha.. My friends and I sometimes put that movie on after getting inebriated. I'll be the first to say Flashback is definitely underrated. The soundtrack is pretty good. Check it out.
