Aug 30, 2009 - Wonderful strength but no one should ever do squats down to a bench or any solid surface. With the weight on your shoulder and body on the bench, the weight acts like a sledgehammer on your spine. Not good. Not sure why she needs that anyhow. She has a spotter.

Oct 11, 2009 - Wonderful squat technique, but I agree with chrisw2546. This is very bad for your L5 (5th lumbar vertebra)

vongSTAA Says:

Oct 13, 2009 - Have you heard of box squats? A lot of powerlifters use them to help increase their squat strength (google Westside Barbell and you'll see their training methods). Generally the "box" or whatever it is that you used should be low enough for you to break parallel. I think (not sure on this) the reason a lot of powerlifters use this method is because it helps them utilize their multi-ply suits better.

Oct 26, 2009 - what`s the reason for chains?more weight??

ChimneyClot Says:

Nov 9, 2009 - The chains are meant to add resistance that diminishes as the weight gets closer to the ground and the movement becomes stickier. Damn impressive, but hopefully the viewers here realize that this range of motion is not for strength. This is a rehearsal for competitive lifting.
