Nov 7, 2009 - Gr8 pop...I love this material.... when it arrived in Oz I had a tres slick Euro sedan friends used to argue..sometimes heatedly....as to to was going to travel with me to our next Sat nite " things go better with" party stop....in the rigt mood the car stereo speakers hypnotised us all on yet another space cadet weekend in Melbourne.....

jensenon Says:

Nov 7, 2009 - Best summer of my life too, I'm not really sure why, but I did kinda know it at the time too. Funny how you said exactly what I was thinking.

Nov 13, 2009 - The 80's were an amazing time. I think we were all saved by zero at some point. ;)

DixieRected Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - I remember listening to The Fixx on my walkman while skateboarding. Just that whole era.. I could escape with this song and tune out the world. I really miss the 80's sometimes...

somewhatlongdong Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - I know what you mean...I miss the 80's too, specially 80"s music. I was young and handsome and single...what happend???

DixieRected Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - Yeah no kiddin.. seems like I blinked and all of the sudden I'm pushing 40 and wondering what the hell happened. I just know that at the time, I didn't realize how cool that era was.. maybe it was the youth, I dunno.. but this music is a quick audio sedative to take me out of the chaos of today.

DonnieDarko1 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - yo man, I can never get tired of this, especially driving in the morning or nite, NEED A QUICK FIXX!

tootsiejoon Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - Yes, I didn't realized how cool that era was too, untill time went by and things changed, perhaps the coolest era ever and I can just go back to that era by listening to 80's with a big smile on my face.

DixieRected Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - Yeah I agree wholeheartedly. I distinctly remember how cool MTV was.. when a favorite video was about to play and the whole MTV rocket-to-the-moon clip would just increase the excitement. I guess it was like kids going crazy for Elvis and the Beatles in their respective times.. we had MTV and videos and it was totally new and exciting. Looking back, it was just a fun time to be alive and the cheesiness and plasticity of the era brings back fond memories for me.

Nov 21, 2009 - WHAT ABOUT TEH 1990'S

biaiaiaiatch Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - You're so lucky! You don't know how bad I wish I was born in the 70s just to experience the 80s and 90s. You know that those eras were the best when you start seeing a revitalization of it. Music and fashion are so heavily influenced by the 80s nowadays.

smegweevil Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - According to Cy Curnin, the lead singer, the meaning is becoming free of encumbrances. The idea for the lyrics came to the band when they were on the road and did not have all the comforts and personal possessions that they did at home.

jonrleephoto Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - Great song by a wonderful band. Classic!

Blugrazz Says:

Nov 25, 2009 - It all comes around. Wait 'til your junior high prom music is "classic". It'll just make you feel old.
