Oct 3, 2009 - Loved this application, just used it to help my nephew out with an sound issue and do some updates on his computer. Mind you they only got like a 0.37mbit downstream mobile connection. But it worked flawless. Thanks for bringing this application up.

Oct 5, 2009 - logmein rescue is another solution - but seems it's more expensive that gta. Go with gta just based on the price! :) logmein DOES have a free version of remote desktop software that you could use as a FREE alternative, but they (the user of the remote computer you're trying to control) needs to sign up for an account and then download and install the software - not a good solution for many cases - but it a free forever solution.

Oct 5, 2009 - I use logmein free edition and my Ipod touch with logmein ignition, it's perfect for quickly mailing some files from my computer to the school computer, in case i forgot to do that the other day. And of course turn based flash games are also fun to do.

Oct 2, 2009 - No, it's much improved in Windows 7. It goes through firewalls etc. just like Gotoassist, you just type a simple number it gives you to connect to the person you want to help.
