There are always going to be people who prefer the remake of an original, and there's always gonna be people who prefer the first one, probably for the same reasons. It's all a matter of opinion, and in all the arguments I've read over this I have never, ever seen anyone change their mind just because someone disagrees with them. But i honestly feel the rough grungy sound of the skids version has more heart and fits the style better.
