Oct 25, 2009 - I am 100% correct...I didn't say buckley appeared before radiohead...artists are often influenced by each other yorke was in the audience at one of buckley's shows and loved the way buckley could evoke emotion into his lyrics yorke was inspired by this and then wrote fake plastic trees...I love radiohead they are my favorite band...though I very much love muse also, yorke and matt were influenced by buckley vocally, muse is a rockband...a creative one...radiohead is an experience.

redwolf481 Says:

Oct 25, 2009 - muse was if anything mainly influenced by the jimmy hendrix experience..that is what matt envisioned in the beginning..thats why they are a 3 person band and they are similar in many ways...I am sure like many bands that matt was maybe influenced by radiohead here and there...who isn't though radiohead is like the modern beatles..they have covered so much ground creativly its hard not to do something they haven't allready done..but muse is more influenced by buckley/ the jimmy hendrix experience

Nov 1, 2009 - try out in rainbows? the entire album of in rainbows and ok ocmputer are quite great. you should try all of their songs. all of them are really great.

TMacsBrokenBack Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - actually you are sadly misinformed. Fake Plastic Trees was already written years before that Jeff Buckley concert, and was performed live before Grace even came out. Also, Tim Buckley(jeffs dad) was a bigger influence on Thom Yorke more than anything. while Sirenwren is harsh for calling you a ''fucking idiot'' he is somewhat right about his 1988 demo reference. Thom yorke was singing in falsetto in those early demos, so its not like he magically started singing better after Buckley appeared.

TMacsBrokenBack Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - Check out Radiohead at Reading covering Tim Buckley's Sing a Song for you on youtube. It's really nice, they sing it before Bones.
