Nov 19, 2009 - Only 2 members survived the plane crash in Gillsburg, MS back on Oct 20, 1977. Leon Wilkinson and Billy Powell. They both died in 2006 and Powell in 2009.

Nov 20, 2009 - this song seems too much, but very soo much at "always somewhere" by Scorpions.
homemmpa Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - They do because Always Somewhere borrows some chords from Simple Man. It's a known fact and no big deal about it. Simple Man was recorded in 1973 and Always Somewhere was released in 1979.
kilts4u2 Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - nceguy528, how can you make such a serious error in reporting? Only 2 members survived? And you got Leon Wilkeson's death date wrong as well. Three members of LS did die that sad day. Lead singer Ronnie VanZant, guitar player Steve Gaines and backup singer Cassie Gaines. Everyone else from the band survived. Do the research before you make such egregious comments. The tragic history of this band is well known and bad fact checking just makes you look foolish.
sandiswarmer Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - Hey, hey...we all make mistakes. Some facts are reported wrong...but so what. And no one misses Ronnie like I do, but you know what, Johnnie is great too!!! RIP Ronnie, Steve and Cassie. We all miss you.
