Jul 8, 2009 - Ah fair enough. What part of the UK do you live? There's loads of property with studios fully soundproofed in London and Birmingham. I renovated a warehouse in Birmingham for a company and put in 6 fully sound proofed studios. They were brilliant! You can get some real jems out there!

Jul 8, 2009 - i live in liverpool. at the moment im in college, so its basiicaly a job that is my number 1 hobbie. and i think making 8 thousand in my first year im quite happy with that. already iin this year i have made £4600
DavidConnorProducer Says:
Jul 8, 2009 - Yeah man you should find some really nice studios to rent up there if not do it your self like build a booth and that it would only take a few weeks and you can get it how you want it!! Only reason I'm moving into a commercial premises is that iv been offered some work that not only i cant turn down i cant do it in my basement! So i was forced out my home studio if that makes sense!
neiloconnor123 Says:
Jul 8, 2009 - yeh i see what you mean. it would be better of moving also more there could be more money involved in it.

Aug 13, 2009 - ive been looking for info online, getting tutorials and what not, but it seems theres a lack of guidance, no one really wants to help anyone it seems in this industry, but i guess its all about being persistant and not giving up, if one really likes this craft they will stick with it
PhyscoRecords Says:
Aug 14, 2009 - u need to feel it dude people cant teach you to make beats u gotta learn the game ur self :D
shalmont Says:
Aug 14, 2009 - nah i understand that, but they can teach formats and tips, its just a shady biz, if you dont have someone whos already in the biz and wants to teach you, chances are its gonna be a tough run, but its worth it if you really like music :)

THe average producer in my state NY only racks about 50 gs a year statistically. The average psychiatrist racks 189 gs a year statistically so i think ill do music on the side lol

Oct 28, 2009 - I really enjoy music, and could easily see myself with a music profession. However, I don't know where to start so that I could have a future. I play guitar (badly, but nonetheless :D) and understand music well. What would be a good position for me?
