Sep 12, 2009 - The trick to this song is not the notes-although having an accurate transcription to work from is important...the trick is in the dynamics-I believe Jorma always uses a thumbpick at the least to perform this tune.I believe he also used some metal fingerpicks on the index and middle fingers for the recording and on many live performances-this is EXTREMELY important! The dynamics happen chiefly because of these fingerpicks...
