Jul 26, 2009 - what hat is she wearing? Is it from some Indian religious stream?
BigMTBrain Says:
Jul 27, 2009 - "Taal" or "Tala" is "rhythm" in Hindustani music. Normally it's used to discuss and/or describe the percussive parts of a composition. But it is also applied fo stylish and popular vocal percussive performances such as Chandra's. It is the vocal emulation of percussion instruments, particularly the tabla, with each strike or "bol" having a specific sound and vocal/written equivalent. You might call it the Indian version of Hiphop's beatbox, except talas are more formal. (see Wikipedia)

Sep 13, 2009 - At 1:51 she goes: "yy kaa koo nee" - which is "one two three four" in finnish. I'm from Finland and was pretty surprised by this.

Oct 6, 2009 - Hmm... A few seconds before that I clearly hear something like "ek do ??? cha panj", that must be "one two ??? four five" in some other language (sounds like Persian, but maybe other iranian or even indian language, I don't know... In Persian, "three" would sound like "se", but in the video it isn't obviously...) So, about Finnish numbers it sounds so like truth - unprobably this is merely TWO coincidences in one place...

Oct 9, 2009 - Ek do teen char panch are 1 2 3 4 and 5 in Hindi, we sometimes count the beats in numbers. Also the same in classical dances like Katthak when counting beats.
