Oct 28, 2009 - What a superb interview. Two genial, pleasant, warm musical geniuses and an interviewer who clearly loves their music and is able to articulate this without being a grovelling sycophant. Thanks for posting.

Nov 7, 2009 - why is neil peart never on these events? I mean I know what happend, with his family and stuff but he should be here.

Nov 7, 2009 - Neil lives in LA, they live in Toronto, this interview was done in Toronto, that's why he's absent. Also, Neil doesn't enjoy doing interviews, Geddy and Alex do, hence they do the bulk of them. Its just the way things go with these guys.

Nov 8, 2009 - rush is soooo freakn down to earth and soo humble they r not those ego freaks tht worry bout nothing but themselves and money.they have character. ive been looking for musical rolemodels and theseguys have filled the slots. im a family kid sooo family is sooooo important. i want a career in music (i play bass) but i wanted to stay away from all the preasure and all the bad stuff the other rockstars do. they just inspired me... LONG LIVE RUSH

Nov 11, 2009 - Hey! Thanks for posting this! Really enjoyed listening to it in the background while getting some work done. Always interesting to hear some 'new' stuff about the band I've never heard before and there seemed to be a lot of it in this vid, and I've heard many Rush interviews in the past. Good interviewer too. I like his voice, attitude, and questions, and it seems like many of them weren't written down - he just jumped in there with another question in reaction to the guys' comments. Good stuff!
gorillabelly1 Says:
Nov 11, 2009 - If they ever do get into this 'hall', hopefully they'll react to it like John Lydon did - that is, something along the lines of "fuck you!" The R and R hall of fame is a joke. I mean, come on, is the late, long-gone Ritchie Valens's "legacy" or "influence" greater than Rush's? I think not. The R and R hall of fame seems to be, at least to me, simply an outlet for its Board members to celebrate their own, personal musical heroes, and to hell with everyone else, such as Rush.
rednecknber Says:
Nov 11, 2009 - i agree look at some people that are in the hall just a joke
gorillabelly1 Says:
Nov 11, 2009 - Yep. Just goes to show that the R and R hall of fame isn't 100% about celebrating rock music that has been TRULY innovative, challenging, and highly influential, but, rather, favouritism.
rednecknber Says:
Nov 11, 2009 - some one made a comment to me the other day and said at least rush never sold out as to the hall of fame looking back at that now how true

Nov 20, 2009 - This was fantastic. Thanks so much for posting it. They are so humble even after all these years. That and their integrity has been the keys to their success. Not to mention that in my opinion, they are the most talented rock musicians (alongside Queen, Yes and a few others), to ever exist. God Bless you Geddy, Alex and Neil for what you've given us for more than 4 decades! I am one of the fans you discussed and became a musician myself due to RUSH.

Nov 21, 2009 - That was a great interview. Thank you so much for posting it! As a loyal fan since 1974, I have never tired of their wonderful music. They have such an honest, open and humble attitude that is so refreshing. Simply good people, and we are so blessed to have been part of their lives through their legendary music.

Nov 21, 2009 - What an excellent well crafted interview and a pleasure to literally stumble across.Having been a UK rush fan (unashamedly) since 1977 I never tire of hearing the band members own thoughts on their music and also their memories of the making of albums etc.i found myself momentarily reminiscing about who I was at certain points in my own life, what i was doing, what my aspirations were but most of all remembering that rush and their music was ,and still is a pleasant and welcome part of my own life
