He was the first to mold the basic shape of each character, but the truth is its the writers and directors that flesh out the characters. He consults of course, and makes sure the show doesent stray...but in trueth i have always held just as much respect for the writers than i have for matt him self. Truely he is a walt disney for our time (minus the natzi-ism).
