Aug 14, 2009 - The text is a bit ambiguous as to whether the act described is rape or consensual sex. Since it says, "they are discovered," I think the text is describing consentual sex. If you had ever read the Bible properly, you would know that if you read the surrounding text it doesn't mean what you say it does at all! Context and translation of word is key! I encourage you to read the whole Verse again with a good Bible Commentary book alongside.
