Nov 15, 2009 - @stephanieesunshineee I understood that whole symbolism involving the rebirth. It was just weird how KW was like "Get in my tummy!" And if you understood so much of it, can you PLEASE explain those owls? i got it made carol jealous and such, but they were so weird and random in that movie.

stephanieesunshineee Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - hm, well, it's not like I wrote the movie, so I'll never know for sure about that one, but when I was watching the movie, I thought they symbolized his sister's friends. He gets jealous of them because he feels like she's hanging out with them now, and thinks that they're mean to him, and all.

MRCAT123789 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - lolololoveeeeee

Nov 16, 2009 - lo lo lo l lol

bamroasted Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - it seems the owls represented max's relationship with his mother. carol was frustrated by the owls because he couldn't understand them, while max's mother was frustrated by max because she couldn't understand him

Nov 17, 2009 - This song is so amazing! It instantaneoulsy reminded me of the ending of the movie and brought back all of its emotion! Where the wild things are was amazing!

soiledmatress232 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - I thought that the Wild Things each symbolized an aspect of Max' personality. Carol was the main aspect who just wanted to be loved, others were angry, misunderstood, lonely and feeling like they never got noticed by anyone who they once thought of as a friend.

CadaversAskew Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - i almost freakin cried at the end of this movie!!! haha but i love it! and i love this song

ZyroXL6 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - and jealousy.

soiledmatress232 Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - As for Bob and Terry I have 2 theories. One is the obvious one that Bob anD Terry are symbolic of Max' sisters new friends, the other is that they are symbolic of his mothers new boyfriends. She introduces them as friends and Max cannot understand them quite like a child who cant understand why his mother cant be with his father anymore.

xoxviickyxo Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - i cried my eyes out at the end ((: i love this song !

MrThemustardtiger Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - i think the owls might have actually just been stuffed animals that his sister just vented to, and the boy didn't really quite get it i dunno, i was stoned when i saw it haha

LittleLimaBean Says:
