The worse the degeneration of morality in a person gets the better he thinks of himself (i'm a good person). You have two directions to go. You heart is hardened and your conscience doesn't speak anymore. Your freedom to do whatever you want is so important to you that the thought of God running this whole thing is is so horrible he might wet blanket your actions.

All their holidays coincide, they made jesus's birthday coincide with pagan gods at a council, to cover it up. It was a power grab by the post-constantine emperor's of rome, One God, ONE EMPEROR.

Christ, in christianity, is nothing but a myth, the miraculous aspects to his story were just recycled myths, so his story is a ripoff and many times removed from reality. Nov 24, 2009 - If you fail to realize the Egyptions were 'polytheists' not monotheists I really don't think you should be arguing history. Moreover a myth is an 'old' story, not necessarily a false story. Nevertheless, there's nothing pagan about the word of God, the texts coincide perfectly with old world Jewish history with each testament complimenting the other despite being written years apart. Those homeless people that my church made sandwhiches for appreciated that money too. Jesus loves you.

Hitler, Stalin, and Mao combined killed over 100 million in one decade in a secular attempt to create utopia. Also look up Akhenaten, he tried organizing egypt under monotheistic deity Amun-Ra, so please perhaps you should research this history before challenging it. Monotheism benefits power- that's why it prevails today, it is probably also easier to offer as an "answer all" the truth is, you do not know how or why human's are on this planet or what they are supposed to do
