We are the "Catfish Capital of the World" just like your apron..we know we are, because the sign where you enter our town says so. Ha. But every 4th, we have our annual Green River Catfish Festival. People come from all over to fish in our $50,000 catfish tournmt. They release a bunch of tagged fish into the river and if you catch a tagged fish....

The Chamber of Commerce takes out an life insurance policy on the big fish and so when it is caught they cash in on the policy and give it for the prize money. LOL. Plus there's plenty of goood fish to be eat. Seriously. But yeah its a lot of fun. I cant wait..it'll be starting up in a few days!
