SPNtR is a class act, pop band. they decided to not be labelled as a christian band, but say they are 'christians in a band'...they believe this affords the greatest public exposure for their music. however, their music runs two themes: one pop/whimisical, and the other drenched w. theology/spirituality. anyway, how one view's their relationship to God informs everything about how one lives one's life...

What I saw: his initial touch was nothing other than an attempt to comfort her. He wasn't flirtatious at all. I've seen Dave be flirtatious with any number of other guests (most of whom liked it) and be flustered by flirtatious guests - and neither of those things happened here. After his deadpan "are you kidding me?" look, he interrupted her needlessly - for which he apologized.

Jun 12, 2009 - My take, for what it's worth... (nothing, I know...) She was nervous. He was touchy. (No big harm.) She said "all my dreams are being fulfilled." This could mean: 1) sharing about God on TV, or 2) meeting Letterman. He took it to mean she dreamed of meeting him... so he decided to make crude "jokes". He was clearly uncomfortable with her talking about God, but strangely tried to affirm her story and beliefs at the end. Probably trying to make up for being a boob.
