Sep 17, 2009 - Far out and solid man, groovy, Peace! I was 7 at the time, I remember it all, along with the moon landing, Nixon, 10 cent icecream from the Mr. Softie icecream truck which past by my house. Thanks for that trip down memory lane.

Sep 19, 2009 - Love this song... I tell you, had I been old enough to go there I would have walked around stalk naked...free as a jaybird!!!!

theflyingmouse Says:

Sep 26, 2009 - If i's been around back then, I would have most likely been one of the evil nazi stormtrooper cops who liked to hit hippies upside the head with my nightstick. Nice song though. Weird to think that most of the hippies who survived the drugs long enough went on to own microwaves, eat at McDonalds, drive station wagons, and own brand new Japanese stereos they use to play CD's with a recording label logo on, containing songs they believe remind them of their youth. Who sold who out?

Oct 3, 2009 - just remember this, theflyingmouse, SOMEBODY had to blaze a trail through the right-wing-sour-faced-conservative-establishment so that you non-conformist wanna-be's can flaunt it around..., it just wasn't easy to be way-out weird back in the day...,now its ingrained! So go easy on yer older hippy parents.

Oct 3, 2009 - where would we be today without this lovely music love and peace , it still makes me happy, God bless you all ,we will meet in heaven

MisterTom1001 Says:

Oct 4, 2009 - I live this song too. So light, dreamy and gentle... but lett's not kid ourselves; it's only peaceful in a relatively superficial way. The only REAL peace comes from knowing Jesus in a personal way. Those of you who know him in this way know EXACTLY what I mean. Our prayer for others is that they would receive him too and experience a peace that transcends earthly pleasures. God bless..

mobyboy Says:

Oct 5, 2009 - this song is always pleasent , summersize with warm and emphesis , the hippie era !

Balertwine Says:

Oct 11, 2009 - This is the definitive rendition of Woodstock. Guitars and vocals that are better than anything except maybe rhubarb pie. There's nothing superficial about it -- hands down, this is one of the best slices of music of the modern era, truly a golden moment. Who, I wonder, played the slide guitar on this? Thank you Ian Matthews and crew, thank you.

basilhenriques Says:

Oct 13, 2009 - It's NOT a slide guitar It's pedal steel played by Gordon Huntley the first inductee to the European Steel Guitar Hall of Fame (Google it)
