Mar 17, 2009 - does this An peq fit a large 10.8 V battery? What an peq box can hold that battery , need help. I think the one of dboys cant hold a large ..CA i dont know.. need help
Corvid Says:
Mar 17, 2009 - What AN/PEQ? My gun doesn't have one! And no, there are no battery boxes that hold a Sub-C cell pack of that voltage. Try Lipoly mate, or smaller cells like 4/5SC, my 12v battery pack is the same size as a normal 9.6v large pack.
Fez450 Says:
Mar 29, 2009 - dude dont hold down the trigger for so long it burns out the motor if you do it enough
Corvid Says:
Mar 29, 2009 - Certainly does LESS damage to the motor than firing semi auto, which puts HUGE strain on the motor. You seem to think the motor "struggles" to fire the gun once up to speed, when actually it has very little trouble. The main strain is getting the gears up to speed. Lots of short bursts are going to do cause FAR more wear than a smaller number of long bursts.
randomnumber41 Says:
Apr 6, 2009 - you realize that electric motors are not meant to be run that fast for a long period of time. THEY GET HOT!!! when motors get hot, they seize up and typically self destruct.
randomnumber41 Says:
Apr 6, 2009 - you could get a sector gear clip, that would significantly reduce the number of skips.
Corvid Says:
Apr 6, 2009 - Yeah? None of my guns in the past have EVER had the motor hot enough to be felt as "hot" through the grip, even after emptying entire hicaps in a single burst. The gun at this point is no exeptoin. At 38rps, the grip gets hot to the touch after a couple of hundred semi shots, or a few hicaps when doing bursts.
randomnumber41 Says:
Apr 6, 2009 - just because you can't feel the heat doesn't mean its not hot. you'll typically get a metallic sort of smell of a hot motor though.
Corvid Says:
Apr 7, 2009 - Naturally. That would be why I've taken the motor out the grip after a few long bursts. Warm, not hot. I've never killed a decent motor at low speed. Your statement that you could destroy the motor in an AEG that fast by firing bursts that long is total bollocks. Four full hicap winds at 38rps, now THAT is hot, almost too hot to touch the motor casing. In that case, I couldnt care less, 75,000 rounds is just fine for a $25 motor.

Apr 14, 2009 - the easiest way right now for u to increse your rof (i know u dont want to) is to put a lipoly battery i that monster!
Corvid Says:
Apr 14, 2009 - Errrr, didn't see the rest of my videos did you mate... I tend to keep away from LiPoly because of the current involved, and the impact that has on the 18awg wiring I'm forced to use owing to lack of space.
Corvid Says:
Apr 14, 2009 - There WERE no skipped shots in this video mate. I can't hear a single one, and certainly didn't hear any in person when recording it.
randomnumber41 Says:
Apr 14, 2009 - I didn't say there were any... that was SUPPOSED to reply to some guy wayyy down the line who asked how to get more reliable firing at high speeds
Corvid Says:
Apr 14, 2009 - That explains it then!
djr21co Says:
Apr 29, 2009 - ever considered that maybe you dont need that high of rof? i get away with 30 good shots per game, dont need to reload, pay for a hudge amount of bbs stuff like that. it just a suggestion. or is this an expiriment "to see how cool it can get".
TinyBaller Says:
May 17, 2009 - hey how accurate is ur ics? cuz my ics accuracy is crap with my madbull tightbore too...
Epson5000 Says:
Aug 12, 2009 - wow so slow. :)

Aug 16, 2009 - I'm assuming for Shit's and the giggles...ROF is addicting...I don't use my high ROF ICS m4 in games, just for fun.

Oct 12, 2009 - NICE GUN! what type of fps do you get with that spring?
xkakashix12 Says:
Oct 12, 2009 - you don't give the rest of us a chance in games )=..jk jk
abdaloser Says:
Oct 20, 2009 - I use a Systema turbo and systema tightbore with my ics m4, a 9.6batt is too much of an ammo guzzler so i use an 8.4... High rof is good for faster trigger response and hitting running targets better...imo

Nov 23, 2009 - Stick in the new TM 3000 motor looks a beast.
Corvid Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - Not very fast though, built for torque over speed.
