Jun 11, 2009 - They're using production music for everything - promos, IDs, topicals... they used to use EWN for the topicals too. The only remnants of EWN they're using now are the bumpers, the closings, and the franchise stingers (Weather, Action 9...and that's it)

All Cox stations used them WSB in Atlanta #1, Orlando, and Charlotte, but WPXI #2 in AM and 11pm but Noon, 5,6either third place or tie for #2 with Channel 4. Magid sucks KSTP in MSP been in third place for 20 yrs, and The Hubbards who own Ch. 5 are good friends with Frank Magid. They were college buddies and he cant get his best friends station out of the cellar. Stations need to stop spending their money on these bull shiters

Jun 30, 2009 - I think WFTV should have stuck with the EWN package.. But using the cut KGO currently uses. It would fit WFTV's new opens well. It can be heard on the video here on YouTube titled "New KGO ABC 7 HD open". It sounds like WFTV's new voiceover is Nick Michaels.

Jul 5, 2009 - I like how they tweek the colors somewhat for the Daybreak open. It is clearly a noon time picture. I'm also not a fan at all of the 5pm open picture, it should be the skyline or something recognizeable, not some suburban, bland neighborhood.

Jul 16, 2009 - in ratings KOB-TV is #2 mornings KOAT and KOB battle for #1 and #2 at noon behind KRQE. at 5pm and 6pm KOAT #1 and KOB #2....KRQE has 4/4:30pm and does well and comes back at 5:30pm beating Ch 4 for #2 spot. At 10pm KRQE #1 and KOB #2 and KOAT #3, but ratings do change and the market numbers changes
