cam2540 Says:

Nov 6, 2009 - I'm irrationally upset that Kevin and Winnie didn't end up together. I mean really... his brother Corey managed to make it work with Topanga.

heavymetalrulz123 Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - The best series finally ever! It's too bad more people don't realize it.

Mrster Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - The whole narration and the whole "I'll be right there" reminds me of Stand By Me.

supercarsXposed Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - anyone feel sad after watching this?

assassinatingninja Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - is it true marilyn manson played paul?

ArnoldGallagher Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Yep. And so disappointed that the producers didn't go one season and see him through high school.

ArnoldGallagher Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - TV wasn't very good during the Wonder Years, either - this show was an exception.

QuietstormRB Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - The Wonder Years ran from 1988-93 there were other great shows on tv during that period. I was young at that time so I can only give u examples of shows that I watched growing up. In living Color that was a great sketch comedy show it launched a lot of actors careers Jim Carrey being one of them. Doogie Howser M.D. was a great show. Parker Lewis Can't Lose classic (Minus the 3rd season lol). The Tracey Ulman Show (The Simpsons blueprint). Those are just a few examples..

QuietstormRB Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - These particular shows I named are because I have always been fan of comedies and these shows (Doogie Howser being an exception being that it leaned towards drama) were well written. I don't know what genre of tv you prefer but to say that tv was bad back then I would have to disagree.

SuperPissflaps Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - @assassinatingninja no its a myth

dovestones Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - Tracey Ulman wasnt a Simpsons blueprint. They just had little spots before the adverts.

QuietstormRB Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - I wasn't referring to her as an individual I meant the show as a whole. Yes you are correct but they appeared only on The Tracey Ullman show. They didn't appear anywhere else so it was the blueprint.

dovestones Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - If it was the blueprint that would mean the humour and style of the show was an influence on the Simpsons. This is not the case. I will agree it helped in launching the Simpsons to a certain degree, giving it some exposure before the half-hour shows aired.

QuietstormRB Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - You're not understanding what I mean maybe blueprint is the wrong word. The Tracey Ullman Show was the FOUNDATION (I think that word suits my point the best) for The Simpsons being that before its own half-hour show you could only catch it during breaks of The Tracey Ullman Show. The Simpsons wasn't its own entity those vignettes were a part of The Tracey Ullman Show.

erad14 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - CLASSIC!!

KatCeline Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - I like this show, too bad it only comes on every 10 years

dovestones Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Yes, now we understand each other :)

QuietstormRB Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Cool : )

brfts2001 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Ozzyboy831, I don't think this show was meant to have a geographically specific location for it. It could've just as easily been any other suburban US place in the late 60's.

tommynicks Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - My dad grew up the same time as Kevin and as we'd watch it he'd tell me a lot of stories about what was going on in the show and how it related to his life. I remember when Kevin's son asked him to play catch it was a very emotional moment for my dad, me and my little brother.

mattyg1306 Says:

Nov 25, 2009 - Arnold, it wasn't the producers choice, the series was canceled, but early enough that they were able to change the narration to sum up the series. NONE of the actors knew at the time the finale was filmed that it was the last episode. Dan Lauria stated in a radio interview that the producers planned to end with Kevin's graduation, and that Kevin would come home to find his dad dead on the kitchen floor (they fought earlier and he thought he didn't show up at his graduation cause he was mad.).
