They said in one of their interviews that their "policy" is either to deliver +100pct product (regardless of how much time should it take) or to cancel a product in development if they feel the result wouldn't be appealing enough. The Ghost was given as an example of such decision.

Aug 28, 2009 - People often give Blizzard slack for being late on their products (Diablo 2 and now SC II anyone?), BUT the thing, just like yaroukh mentioned, is that Blizzard puts their HEART into something if they decide to work on it at all. Really, Blizz basically has only 4 games which they created throughout about 11 years - StarCraft, Warcraft 3, Diablo and WoW.Most companies like EA release shitton of games, but none of them are as epic as Blizzard ones. Aug 30, 2009 - I completely agree with ModLTU. They don't consider their games as 'products' that they earn money with. For them, their games are a piece of their work, a 'masterpiece' that they put their heart in. That's why Blizzard games deserve to be called 'epic' as he mentioned. Diablo II and Starcraft are still in the market, aren't they?
