Oct 13, 2007 - Like anything revolutionary,the Simpsons went against the grain. It wasn't the typical goody too shoes, conservative, blah t.v. that had clogged the airwaves until then. They could get away with more b/c it's a cartoon, yet I still catch myself thinking "Yeh, right he can fall of a cliff and not get killed..." Help. Tex Avery was a pretty good pioneer himself, his were always my fav cartoons in the 70's.
